The lovely new melodies (also by Dean Jones) for 'While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks' and 'Good Christian Men Rejoice' bring an extra freshness to this excellent collection.

Readings have been selected by Ruth Kenward to complement the carols and not only tell the familiar Christmas story but also widen the picture to include prophecies that were made concerning Jesus, both long before and soon after his birth in Bethlehem. The great piano/vocal score and instrumental backings are full of life.

The Director's Pack contains everything you need to put on a successful concert including the Director's Book with readings, lyrics, piano/vocal scores and performance licence application form. The accompanying CD contains full vocal demonstrations of the songs for the children to learn and separate instrumental backing tracks for performance use (no pianist required!).

The readings and lyrics may be photocopied from the Director's Book if you have a licence to do so (for example, CCLI, SPML, CLA and so on) and that you declare all such copying via the appropriate reporting mechanism.
