Wow! What A Year! - By Andrew Oxspring and Nick Haworth
Product Description:
Wow! What A Year! is an End of year/leavers’ musical for Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11). Where to start? Home-schooling, empty supermarket shelves, social-distancing, bubbles, tiers, facemasks, not being able to hug our grandparents ... these have been extraordinary and challenging times!
But through it all, heroes have emerged and with a strength of spirit, hope in our hearts and a sense of humour, we are coming out the other side. So, what better way to commemorate our place in history than with a bloomin’ good sing-song!
The Book and CD Pack includes the full script with detailed stage directions, character information, tips and suggestions for costumes, props and scenery, a CD of all songs (vocal tracks and backing tracks) plus continuity/incidental music and sound effects where required and a piano score with voice line and guitar chords for all the songs.
The CD-ROM pack version replaces the wire-bound A4 book and includes both a PDF and an editable MS Word document of the full script allowing you to re-write or individualise the text, dialogue and lyrics to suit your needs and a PDF of the piano score on the CD-ROM (you can print as many copies of the script and score as you require from your PC), along with MP3s of all tracks. The CD-ROM pack also contains detailed stage directions, character information, tips and suggestions for costumes, props and scenery along with an audio CD of all songs (backing tracks & vocal tracks) plus continuity/incidental music and sound effects where required.
Also available is a CD-ROM of Digital Backdrops containing seven images in the sequence they are required throughout the script, supplied in both a PowerPoint presentation and as individual hi-resolution JPG files. No more scenery painting! These images may be projected onto a screen or wall at the back of your stage or hand them to a local printer to print onto large boards or sheets in order to create your stage backdrops. They're also useful to print off for cast and stage crew to familiarise themselves with the sets and scene changes.
